  • Voltage and current division principles.

  • Wheatstone bridge and delta-star transformation.


4. Techniques of Circuit Analysis:

  • Node-voltage analysis.

  • Mesh-current analysis.

  • Superposition theorem.

  • Thevenin's and Norton's theorems.

  • Maximum power transfer theorem.


5. Capacitors and Inductors:

  • Energy storage in capacitors and inductors.

  • Time constant in RC and RL circuits.

  • Transient analysis of first-order circuits.


6. DC Steady-State Analysis:

  • Analysis of circuits with capacitors and inductors in steady-state.


7. Magnetism and Electromagnetic Induction:

  • Magnetic fields, flux, and Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction.

  • Mutual inductance.


8. Introduction to AC Circuits:

  • Sinusoidal sources and phasors (this might be a bridge to the next course in the sequence).
